Anti-sway and tracking control for cranes
Swaying movements are often provoked during and due to the operation of cranes with cable-suspended loads. Swaying movements are also caused by the effects of wind or an inclined hoist. These movements however must always be counteracted. Loads can only be positioned quickly and carefully if the load attachment device hangs in a steady position. Collisions can only be avoided if you have a steady load.
By taking adequately timed countermeasures, crane operators are usually able to inhibit swaying movements of the load while operating the crane, the crab or the slewing gear. This is not the easiest task. We have developed the LENNIX – product series to aid them in their work.
